Firm
Overview
Wilenchik & Bartness P.C.
was formed in 1991 by Dennis I. Wilenchik and
Becky Ann Bartness. Dennis was a senior partner/civil litigator
with the
international law firm, Squire, Sanders and Dempsey and Becky
was
General Counsel of Chase Bank of Arizona. Becky began her legal
career
after a two-year federal court clerkship
with what was then the
largest
and oldest Arizona law firm. After clerking at the Arizona Supreme
Court, Dennis began his career at the County Attorney's Office
where he
left as a member of the Special Operations (white collar crime)
division
before entering private practice.
The firm is located in central Phoenix in its own building, and
provides
high level civil litigation services to a select group of clients
in the
real estate, business, construction and government sectors.
Over the years we have been honored to represent leading companies
and
executives as well as the Attorney General and County Attorney
and
Sheriff of Maricopa County. We have handled a wide variety of commercial
and real estate litigation matters, and look forward to the opportunity
of speaking with you about your case too should the need arise.
The firm has handled a wide variety of small, medium and complex
matters
in all state and federal courts and administrative agencies in
Arizona
including the Office of Administrative Hearings, as well as in
the Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
We
maintain the highest "AV" rating that is available by
the venerable
Martindale Hubbell rating system, and the firm is listed in the
Bar
Registry of Preeminent Lawyers nationally.
The firm prides itself in
innovative, creative solutions to problems.
Dennis Wilenchik is a nationally certified civil trial advocate
who
regularly speaks at trial practice seminars, and Becky Bartness
was
certified as a real estate specialist for over 15 years.
Over the years, the firm has had many prominent
attorneys working at the
firm, including Judges with the Arizona
Superior Court and Arizona Court
of Appeals.
